Needless to say, full view.
A lot of people diss Paint Shop Pro; more specifically, Paint Shop Pro 8/9. They say the tools are "harder to use" and it's "too much like Photoshop". If you ask me, the latter is a good thing. I've been able to follow some Photoshop tutorials for rain and water almost directly. PSP is a great, not to mention cheaper, alternative to Photoshop. However, I've found that there is an obvious lack of helpful PSP tutorials, which may explain why people dislike the more advanced pen tools in PSP 8 and 9. So, here they are. You get a look at how I CG, and it may help you out as well. Coloring tutorial can be found here: [link] Note: For the "Freehand" pen tool, the tracking number depends on you. If you want pure freehand-ness, make it at 1. If you want smoother lines, go for 5, 10, or 15. Experiment. It's all up to you. |
